Description:VERY NICE 1975 EL CAMINO, looks, runs, and drives good. i will give you the best information i have, but this car is 50 years old, no warranty of any kind. you will need to make your decision solely on your inspection of the vehicle. licensed and titled in NM and in my name. some information is from my experience and some furnished from the previous owner of about 35 years.
350 motor was rebuilt in 1994[heads appear to have 1.94" and 1.50" valves] in a dry cold compression test all cylinders were between 100psi and 115psi. has a brand new Edelbrock 4 barrel preformer carb and alum manifold, new oil pump, and left motor mount.
the 350 auto transmission seems to work fine but does leak some, has new cooler, filter and fluid, new rear seal and bushing. most things work[ask me] the speedo runs way slow[i use a gps speedometer/odometer which will go with it.] . power steering [new pump and all new hoses,]power front disc brakes[new master cylinder, new pads and back shoes look good.]
i have put maybe 200 miles on it since 2016, and it has not been smoked in and always kept inside. new chevy IMPERIAL BLUE METALLIC PAINT, also a new windshield, all glass good. has nice chrome wheels and 2 new front tires 195/60R15[0917] and as of 7/11/24 has two new back tires all mounted on chrome rims. air shocks on the back. functional hood scoop. it has a framed soft lift up tonneau bed cover interior is nice with new racing seats, new console, new floor mats, new tachometer, and new radio/cd played. also has shoulder seat belts.
here are some of the new items in the time since i bought it sept. 2016: water pump , radiator hoses and heater hoses, most if not all vacuum, gas and cooler hoses replaced, new fuel pump and filter, thermostat housing and 180 thermostat, rebuilt delco 10si alternator, all new V-belts, battery cutoff switch, some new battery cables, new horn, rebuilt starter, front wheel new seals, new vacuum modulator, new u-joints, changed differential oil and new chrome cover, dual exhaust, and some new pipes. you get the idea.
