i have another 1978 dodge magnum XE for sale this runs and drives pretty good, but could use a paint job, and a new vinyl top [or delete it]. there is rust in some areas. the white leather interior has cleaned up pretty well, other than the bottom of the driver's seat all pretty much in tack. it was the 360ci LA lean burn engine, but now with a new 4 barrel 650cfm carb and an aluminum 2 plain air gap intake manifold. the compression is good have just had a head gasket installed to solve the one cylinder that had lower compression. also all new water, vacuum and power steering hoses. many new electrical components including a coil plus new water pump and fan clutch. it has the heavier A-999 torque flite auto trans that seems to work fine. there are new tires on the front and new tires on the back as of June 2025. the mags are a nice set of i think American Racing? has power windows, power steering and front power disc brakes. this model was built for Nascar racing and ran in 1978 and 1979 seasons [when they used to have to sell the a similar model to the public that they raced] , you could possibly use this to build a Petty 43 tribute car? you will need to look over the car and determine if it will do what you want. no warranties of any kind. it has a clean New Mexico title in my name and horseless carriage license plates, which i think you can transfer to your name if your usage will fit the states qualifications? it's in pretty good shape for a 47 year old car. $6750 cash obo. thankyou for looking.
